Herschel V. Jenkins High School

In April 2020, Herschel V. Jenkins High School, located in Savannah, Georgia, strengthened its STEM and career and technical education (CTE) offerings by purchasing and implementing several of Marcraft’s Green Technology Programs. These state-of-the-art training systems allow students to explore sustainable energy, environmental science, and green engineering through interactive, real-world lab experiences.

The Marcraft Green Technology Programs are designed to prepare students for the growing number of careers in renewable energy and sustainable technology. Each module-based system offers hands-on training in subjects such as:

  • Solar energy and photovoltaic systems

  • Wind energy and turbine technology

  • Energy conservation and smart grid systems

  • Green building concepts and LEED certification

  • Environmental monitoring and sustainability practices

These programs provide students with the technical knowledge and hands-on experience needed to pursue certifications and future careers in environmental engineering, energy auditing, and green construction.
