SS-2000
Alarm security technicians protect homes and businesses by installing, testing, and servicing security and surveillance systems. This type of job requires a strong understanding of electrical principles. Marcraft provides a practical way to build these skills through hands-on training with the SS-2000 Security & Surveillance certification program.
We have enhanced the SS-2000 panel with modern security features, including a magnetic door lock, badge reader, and exit button. The updated security controller now connects to the local network, giving students the ability to program the system from either the keypad or a computer.
To expand training capabilities, we also added a network DVR for the surveillance cameras, which can be integrated into the local network or accessed through mobile apps.
Newly updated and fully illustrated lab procedures guide students step by step through wiring both security and fire sensors, as well as installing and connecting the surveillance cameras and network DVR. This gives students real-world experience with the technologies technicians use every day.
