Instructor Training – Greeley-Evans D6 Career & Technical Education Center
Marcraft visited the Greeley-Evans D6 Career and Technical Education Center to support instructors as they continued building their IT and cybersecurity programs. The session provided an overview of the equipment and concepts included in Marcraft’s Introductory Networking curriculum. Instructors had an opportunity to explore the training materials and review how hands-on networking activities can be integrated into classroom instruction.
The Complete Introductory Networking Course is designed to give students a clear starting point in computer networking. It explains how computers share information, how devices communicate on a network and how protocols guide data movement across systems. The program combines theory with practical exercises so learners can see how networking principles apply in real environments.
Through this instructor-focused session, the Greeley-Evans D6 team gained familiarity with the structure of the course and the resources available to support their students. The training provided an opportunity to review the equipment, discuss implementation ideas and consider how hands-on labs can enhance learning. With this support, the center is positioned to offer a more engaging Intro to Networking experience for students preparing for IT-related careers.
