Wayne County Community College District Uses Marcraft Green Technology Programs

The Western Campus of Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) in Michigan took a forward-thinking step in renewable energy education by incorporating Marcraft’s Green Technology training systems into its new Renewable Energy Technology Training Program.

As part of the program launch, WCCCD acquired multiple units of the Marcraft Clean Electrons and Energy Auditing Training Panels. These systems offer students hands-on experience with the principles of energy efficiency, power generation, and sustainable energy practices—critical knowledge areas in today’s clean energy workforce.

Key learning areas included:

  • Electrical power fundamentals and circuit analysis

  • Energy auditing techniques for residential and commercial buildings

  • Clean power generation and energy flow

  • Sustainable energy conservation strategies

  • Renewable energy policy and environmental impact

These Marcraft systems allowed students to gain practical, job-ready skills in auditing energy usage and understanding clean electrical systems. The program helped establish WCCCD’s Western Campus as a hub for green workforce development in the Detroit metro area.
