Today, we are proud to share the inspiring journey of Jason Langston, a former United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal, whose determination and passion led him to a fulfilling career in IT.

A Unique Path to Cybersecurity

Jason’s story begins after his time at Olean High School when he enlisted in the Marines. Despite serving as a heavy equipment mechanic, his heart was always drawn to computers and video games. Unfortunately, his military journey was cut short due to medical reasons leading him on an unexpected path.

Facing Challenges with Unyielding Determination

After leaving the military, Jason faced numerous challenges on his quest for education and career stability. Despite setbacks in college and medical hurdles, he never gave up. A stint in tech support at Staples revealed his innate talent for troubleshooting computer issues igniting his passion for helping others.

The Pursuit of a Greater Purpose

Determined to achieve his dream, Jason returned to school, eventually graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity from St. Bonaventure University. For Jason, cybersecurity became more than a career choice; it became a calling. His desire to protect people in the digital realm became his mission, a way to serve others without the constraints of military life.

Protecting and Serving in the Digital World

Today, Jason is a testament to the power of unwavering determination and the pursuit of a greater purpose. With his bachelor’s degree in hand, he’s currently pursuing his Master’s in cybersecurity, further honing his skills to make the digital world a safer place for everyone.
